And there we have it. This was my surprise pelt! A wolf!
Some of you may recognize her from Hide and Fur... well, here's what her listing picture looked like. She's 77 inches long, which makes her 6 foot, 4 inches. That is taller than my dad, and that makes her my longest pelt. My previous longest was what, 43 inches at the most? She is HUGE.
I knew a lot of people had their eye on her, and I had been watching her since before I even bought Bracken the coyote... at first she seemed like a dream I'd never have... I mean, I never imagined I'd spend this much money on a pelt.. But I could not let her go, and so I forked up the money and bought her, and boy, I do not regret it one bit.
She is gorgeous and so warm and lovely. I am so happy to have her! Definitely expect more photographs of her!
She did have a name at first... but I had originally thought she was a boy. Now, coming to find out she's a female, I'm struggling to find a name, lol! One will come to me, just as it had with Bracken.
Also, as you can see, my cat Natasha photo-bombed the picture. At least it gives you a sort of size idea!
I did not kill this wolf. She was most likely taken for population control, in Canada. Her kind of wolf is not endangered and to own a pelt of one is completely legal in my state. Don't like it? Don't look.
And then I went back and read what I wrote and immediately knew what went down LOL
Oh~ I just searched for a pic of him your gallery and they look like they could be siblings, hehe!
aww, so is 'tasha
