Friendly reminder to all my Deviantart friends now that it's "chick season" again...

-Do not buy chicks from Tractor Supply, they're very likely to be unhealthy/sick/dying.
-Do not buy Red Sex Links (They also go by: Red Stars/Isa Browns/Golden Comets/Cinnamon Queens/"Red Pullets").

And to anyone who has had good experiences with anything that I listed- you are very lucky and I am glad you have/did, but I know FAR more people who have had HORRIBLE experiences with both than anyone who has had good experiences... So really, I feel it is better to be safe with no RSLs than sorry when you have RSLs hurting each other and ganging up on the less rowdy chickens in the flock like the freakin' "Mean Girls."
